COVID-19 News

January 13, 2021

Dear Parents,

I join our teachers and students in saying that it feels good to be back in school after the Winter Break, as well as the two weeks that we were out prior to the break due to Covid issues.  That being said, I need to report that the students and teacher of one of our classes has to be quarantined due to possible exposure to a Covid-19 positive student.  In addition, several students have been quarantined off one of our buses due to their possible exposure to this student also.  All parents of these students have been contacted by phone by our administrative and support staff.

Please understand that the health and safety of our students and staff is one of our greatest concerns and we will always work to ensure that their health and well-being is safeguarded.  Barring the addition of any new Covid cases with our students and staff (or these students and staff experiencing Covid symptoms), the quarantined students may return to school after the three-day MLK weekend.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns about this or anything else.
